This design represents the third and final park concept created for the same site in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. Unlike the original version, which featured a historically inspired social facility and library, this alternative focuses on a more practical and cost-effective approach. The social facility and library were replaced with a smaller cafe, and the surrounding stone walls were redesigned as open wire fences to create a lighter, more transparent look.
Custom designed furniture was replaced with standard gazebos and benches already available in the municipality’s inventory. The playground area was reorganized to accommodate the existing playground equipment, and an emergency storage unit was added beneath it to serve as a disaster relief depot.
This version was developed as a simplified yet functional interpretation of the original concept, maintaining the park’s welcoming atmosphere while optimizing resources and construction feasibility.
All visuals were rendered using Path Tracer.
